little laundry service Terms of Use

Submission of a booking through Little Laundry Service’s online ordering system will receive written confirmation of its acceptance of your order and contact information.

You can cancel your order any time up to 3 hours before Little Laundry Service collects your laundry. Cancelling your order less than 3 hours before a collection will incur an $11 administration charge.

Little laundry service may cancel your order if there is an intervening event outside its control, or you fail to make items available for collection.

Little Laundry service will use reasonable endeavours to pick up and deliver items at the times specified in your order but does not warrant that it will do so.

Once your laundry is completed an invoice will be emailed to you and Little Laundry Service will deliver your laundry once the invoice is paid. Little laundry Service reserves the right to withhold your laundry until payment is received in full.

Payment is accepted by Paypal, Credit Card or Debit Card via the online payment link in the invoice or cash upon delivery. 

If you fail to accept delivery of items at an agreed time, a redelivery fee of $11 will be charged to you. 

If you are not home to accept your laundry delivery, you may arrange to have an item left in a safe place, collected from, or re-delivered to, a third party, however, this is done at your own risk. Little Laundry Service will not be liable to you for any damage to or loss of the item after it is delivered.

If something goes wrong with your laundry whilst in Little Laundry Service’s care and Little Laundry Service is at fault, your order will be refunded, however, Little Laundry Service accepts no responsibility for items that are damaged in the normal course of the laundry process.

Little Laundry Service accepts no responsibility for any item that is lost or damaged in the laundry process due to your failure to remove paper, tissues, pins, jewellery, coins, keys, pens, amongst others, from the item.

Little Laundry Service uses a cold washing laundry process, machine drying process and a line drying service. Laundry will be divided into lights and darks but Little Laundry Service accepts no responsibility if there is any bleeding or colour transfer during the laundry process.

Little Laundry Service is not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

If an item requires special care (such as handwash, no machine dry, or garment bags) you must bring this to Little Laundry Service’s attention. It is a great idea to put small items and delicate items into protective bags. If there is no label on the clothes, Little Laundry Service will wash as normal. 

Little Laundry Service will try to remove stains as per the clothing labels, however, does not warrant that it will be able to remove all types of stains and will only provide a regular stain removal treatment if requested to do so. Please note, we are not a dry-cleaning service. 

Payment is to be made no later than 24 hours after the service is complete. Failure to do so will incur a $5.00 late fee. 

We will use the personal information you provide to us to provide the laundry services or process your payments; and

We will not give your personal data to any third party other than any service providers engaged by us.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that are caused by an event outside our control.

The Terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding with Little Laundry Service and supersede and extinguish any previous agreements.

Little Laundry Service will not be deemed to have waived any right under the Terms unless it gives the waiver in writing.

These Terms are governed by Australian law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
